During our thorough research, we have read hundreds of reviews from real buyers. This is what most people think of Eureka NES215A Blaze:

5 reasons to buy

  • A substantial amount of buyers were surprised by how powerful this stick vacuum is.
  • The vacuum is recommended especially for hard floors of any type, but it works well in flat-woven carpets too.
  • The 3-in-1 functionality makes it a versatile vacuum, suitable for many tasks around the house.
  • Although it’s a cheap stick vacuum, users think it is easy to use.
  • Users also think it’s lightweight, which makes it a great vacuum for stairs, spot cleaning and small hard-to-reach areas around the house.

5 reasons not to buy

  • Since this is a cheap vacuum, it is corded and therefore has limited reach. You need to have a power outlet nearby, or an extention cord if you want to reach further than what the 18 foot cord allows.
  • Some users disagree about how powerful it is, and some say it is only good for smaller areas, because it isn’t as efficient as larger vacuums.
  • The vacuum doesn’t come with any type of carpet brush nor beater bar, which makes it practically useless on even low pile carpets. Flat-woven carpets are said to be okay, though.
  • There’s a power button located on top of the handle, which is exposed if you use the vacuum underneath furniture. You’re very likely to hit the power button when going underneath furniture, which turns the vacuum off.
  • Some users thought the overall build quality was a bit disappointing, with some parts being a bit too flimsy.

The Eureka NES215A Blaze is a great little stick vacuum, which works in 3 different ways. You can either use it as a regular stick vacuum on floors, but you can also dettach the handle and use it on stairs and other small places. It also works as a handheld vacuum for crevices, if you attach the crevice tool included in the package. Most users like how efficient and powerful this little stick vacuum is, although some were disappointed with its reach. It is a corded vacuum after all, and the included cord is just 18 feet, which means you’ll have to switch power outlets when going from one room to another. It works best on hard floors, but some users had luck using it on flat-woven carpets too. It doesn’t have a brush or beater bar inserted in its floor attachment, which means it doesn’t work properly on low-/high pile carpets. All in all, this vacuum is very reasonably priced for what it is, and if you’re considering a second vacuum for quick spot cleaning around the house, this would definitely be worth considering. Its flaws aren’t deal breakers at all, as long as you don’t expect great suction on carpeted areas.
